THE RIVER RULE

You can imagine that with an organization started by a 7-year-old who says

“I want to start a business but give away all the money", making sure the funds are used properly is a big deal!

Therein lies what has become known as The River Rule.

This is a simple, but important, guiding philosophy of the Tower of Niceness that states every dollar raised for projects is used for projects. This means that we ensure every dollar collected to help those in need is carefully allocated to the causes we support.

Whenever possible, we try to get the money/resources/donations collected directly into the hands of those who need them or given to an organization with specific direction for the use of funds. Additionally, we work extremely hard to leverage our funds when buying supplies, using services, etc. All of our support team and board graciously donate their time as do our amazing sponsors.
