Halloween is more than just trick-or-treating and spooky decor—it’s an opportunity to spark joy for those who need it most. Here at the Tower of Niceness, our goal is to uplift families and children through fun, community-driven projects. This year, our Halloween Helpers initiative brought the spirit of Halloween to kids in local homeless shelters, ensuring everyone got to experience the magic of the holiday.
This year our volunteers delivered 30 brand-new costumes—from superheroes to princesses—and of course, plenty of candy to share, for kids at two local homeless shelters making sure they get to enjoy a fun-filled day of Halloween activities. For many of these children, it was their first time being able to pick out a brand-new costume of their very own, giving them a chance to celebrate Halloween just like their peers.
About the Halloween Helpers Project
The Halloween Helpers project aims to bring the joy of Halloween to children who otherwise might not be able to fully participate. By partnering with local communities and businesses, Tower of Niceness gathers donated new costumes, treats, and party supplies to create safe, festive environments in shelters and youth centers. Each drop-off comes with enough candy, games, and decorations to spark an afternoon of laughter and create cherished holiday memories.
